Reports: Chinander Gets Pay Hike, One-Year Extension

Nebraska defensive coordinator Erik Chinander has reportedly received a pay raise.
According to multiple media reports, Chinander’s salary has been hiked $50,000 to $850,000 and he received a one-year extension. His deal runs through December 31, 2023.
Chinander will be the second-highest paid assistant to head coach Scott Frost. The Huskers’ new offensive coordinator Mark Whipple is slated to make $875,000 in 2022 and $900,000 next year.
