After being held in North Platte last fall, the Class C girls golf championship will reportedly return to Columbus for the next three years.

The Columbus Telegram reports the tournament was awarded to Columbus for 2020 through 2022 following the NSAA Board of Directors meeting in Norfolk earlier this month.

That means the girls golf teams at Scotus and several area schools will be playing in Columbus if they make the state tourney.

The newspaper says the Class A championship will be held in Norfolk and the Class B event will move to Scottsbluff/Gering.
