A report says the Big Ten has sent a letter to NU’s Bill Moos and the league’s other athletic directors that says conference-only schedules for fall sports remain “fluid.”

The Omaha World-Herald report says the schedules for football, volleyball and the other fall sports should be announced at some point in August. But, according to the newspaper, the letter also notes the possibility that fall sports won’t be played at all in the 14-team conference due to COVID-19.

The letter also reportedly says that early next week the Big Ten will announce its coronavirus testing protocols and make a decision on whether preseason camps can start.  Football’s camp is set to begin next Friday.
