Receiver Banks to Play Fearless in His First Game for Nebraska

Nebraska wide receiver Jahmal Banks is getting ready to make his Huskers debut on Saturday against UTEP. 

The 6-foot-4 senior transfer from Wake Forest is expected to be a key contributor to NU’s offense this season.  Banks was asked yesterday about first-game nerves. 

“Coach Rhule talks about feeling the fear, but bearing fearless,” Banks said.  “When you play fearless, you can play to the best of your ability.”  

Saturday’s kickoff at Memorial Stadium is set for 2:30 p.m. The pregame starts at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
