Raiola Comfortable With Speed of College Game, Playbook

Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola says after two weeks he feels comfortable with the speed of the college game.

On Tuesday, he admitted that he was still a little sore Monday after the Huskers’ 28-10 win over Colorado, but said his body feels great.  Raiola credited NU’s strength staff for keeping the players strong and flexible.

He also gave credit to his dad, Dominic Raiola and his current coaches for knowing Nebraska’s playbook already so well as a freshman.  “I’ve learned so much since I’ve been here from Coach Thomas, Coach Sat (Satterfield), Coach Rhule, my uncle (Donovan Raiola), our whole coaching staff and I’m so grateful for that,” Raiola said.

The Huskers host Northern Iowa Saturday at 6:30 p.m.  The pregame begins at 2:30 on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 6 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
