Raiola Breaks Down Huskers’ O-Line on Sports Nightly

First-year Nebraska offensive line coach Donovan Raiola says his unit is “getting better every day.”  Speaking on Thursday’s Sports Nightly, Raiola called it “a great room of great guys that all bought into a little different style.”

Starting tackles Teddy Prochazka and Turner Corcoran were injured in the spring, but still contributed to the Huskers’ practices.  “I encouraged them to be like coaches out there and talk the guys through the technique,” Raiola said.

Nebraska lost starting center Cam Jurgens, who was a second round NFL draft pick.  But, Raiola said of six-year senior Trent Hixson, a former walk-on: “You can really see his game improve each day.”
