Prep Hoops: CHS Splits, Scotus Girls Win

Columbus High’s basketball teams went 1-1 at Lincoln High on Saturday night.
In boys action, CHS prevailed 54-48. Sam Kwapnioski scored 13 points and Ean Luebbe tallied 11. The Discoverers’ second win over the Links this season upped their record to 3-7. The Columbus girls fell 63-25 and are also 3-7 after their third straight loss. Both clubs will host Lincoln East this Friday on KLIR 101.
Also on Saturday, the Scotus girls edged Bishop Neumann 29-28. The Shamrocks will take a 7-5 record to Norfolk Catholic on Tuesday.
