Prep Football, Volleyball on the Air This Week

Coming off a tense 28-21 season-opening win at Fremont, Columbus High’s football team faces another rival this Friday when the Discoverers host Norfolk.
One night after the CHS volleyball team hosts Fremont in its season opener, the Discoverers will entertain the Panthers at Memorial Stadium in Pawnee Park. You can hear Thursday’s volleyball match and Friday’s football game on KLIR 101.
Also on Friday, Lakeview’s football team opens defense of its Class C-1 state title at Ashland-Greenwood on KZ-100. On 93.5 The Hawk, Scotus and Aquinas renew that rivalry in David City.
The Hawk Scoreboard Show airs at 10:30 p.m. Friday, while the Pinnacle Bank Coaches Show is on KLIR 101 Saturday at 9 a.m.
