Prep Football This Week Kicks Off on Thursday Night

The football teams at Lakeview and Scotus will be trying to go to 2-0, while Columbus High looks to even its record at 1-1 with a win this week.
The Discoverers are coming off a 45-28 season-opening loss at Omaha Central. They’ll visit Norfolk on Thursday and the game will be broadcast on KLIR 101.
Lakeview, which opened at home with a 37-6 romp over Boys Town, visits top-ranked Pierce Friday on KZ-100. And Scotus, which upended highly-rated Wahoo 31-14 for a happy Homecoming win last Friday, travels to Omaha to battle Concordia on Friday.
