Povich, Hallmark Sign Deals With MLB Teams

Two Husker baseball standouts will not be returning to Nebraska next season after announcing yesterday they have signed contracts with MLB teams. 

Nebraska junior Cade Povich was signed by the Minnesota Twins, who took the ace lefty in the third round of the MLB Draft. 

And senior outfielder Jaxon Hallmark, who could have returned to NU for a final season, has signed a free agent deal with the Houston Astros after not hearing his name called in the draft.
