GRAND ISLAND- Grand Island Police arrested multiple people after a shooting Sunday.

At 5:24 a.m., 31-year-old Bradley Thompson of Polk was contacted at 1308 N Broadwell Ave after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting suspect was identified as Eddie Valenzuela. During a search at Valenzuela’s residence, Matthew Pena was located in the apartment and arrested on out-of-county warrants. During a search of Valenzuela’s vehicle and Valenzuela’s and Vicente Ramirez’ apartment, Both were found to be in possession of a firearm, a large amount of Marijuana and THC Edibles. Valenzuela was found to be in possession of several thousand dollars of cash. Vicente was also found to have an out-of-county warrant. Valenzuela was arrested for Attempted 1st Degree Murder, 1st Degree Assault, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, Possession of Marijuana and Firearm with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Monies. Ramirez was arrested for a Buffalo County Warrant and Possession of Marijuana and Firearm with Intent to Distribute. Matthew Pena was arrested for Dawson, Buffalo, and Seward County Warrants.

Thompson is in stable condition.
