Police Respond To Hoax Shooting Calls At Scotus Central Catholic and Hastings High School

COLUMBUS- Police have responded to hoax shooting calls at Scotus Central Catholic, Hastings High School, and Omaha South.

At 9:10 a.m. Thursday, the Platte County Joint Communications Center received a report of three students shot in the math room at Scotus Central High School. According to Columbus Police Department Capt. Doug Molczyk, CPD officers responded and found there was nothing to substantiate the report. Hastings High School and Omaha South High School both reported similar situations but police found no threat.

Columbus High School was placed on lockout for a short time during the investigation at Scotus Central Catholic.
