Pfeifer, Weidner and Moser Get Multi-Sport Honors

Three area prep athletes have received recognition from the Lincoln Journal Star.  The newspaper named ten boys and ten girls this weekend as its multi-sport athletes of the year. 

Among those honored were senior Trevor Pfeifer and junior Allison Weidner of Humphrey St. Francis and senior Gabby Moser of Central City High. 

Pfeifer was a dual-threat quarterback who led St. Francis football to a state title as well as the leading scorer on its state runner-up basketball club.  Weidner’s efforts helped St. Francis to state runner-up finishes in volleyball and basketball.  Moser starred in softball and basketball for the Bison.
