Panthers Edge Discoverers For Maroon Cup in ’21-22

Columbus High’s boys golf team finished third in a triangular yesterday at Norfolk Country Club. The host Panthers won the event and captured this year’s Maroon Cup.
With the Maroon Cup standings for the school year tied going into their final meeting in sports, Norfolk carded a team score of 338 to finish 10 strokes in front of Fremont and 34 strokes better than the Discoverers.
Columbus High’s Brock Kuhlman shot an 81 to tie for second place with Norfolk’s Cale Wacker. Tyler Show of Fremont had the top individual score with an 80.
