Scotus hosts rival Bishop Neumann tonight in the opening round of the Class C1 football playoffs.  It’s a rematch of an October 4th game in Wahoo won by the Shamrocks 34-33.

Scotus’ standout quarterback and safety Tyler Palmer has missed the past two games with a sprained ankle.  Coach Tyler Linder says Palmer was able to practice all this week.  He says Palmer still doesn’t look 100 percent and a decision on whether he starts will be made after tonight’s pre-game warmups.

The Scotus-Neumann game will be broadcast on KLIR 101.

You can also hear play-by-play of a pair of C2 playoff openers.  Shelby-Rising City visits Aquinas on 93.5 The Hawk and North Bend Central hosts North Platte St. Patrick’s on KZ-100.  All three kickoffs are at 7 p.m.

The Hawk Scoreboard Show is at 10:30 p.m. on 93.5 FM. And the Pinnacle Bank Coaches Show airs at 9 a.m. tomorrow on KLIR.
