Opening Day for Local American Legion Baseball Teams

It’s opening day for the American Legion baseball teams in Columbus.
The One United Federal Credit Union Junior Blues and Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors open against Hastings at Pawnee Park’s Legion ballpark. First pitch for the Juniors game is at 5 p.m., with the Seniors contest slated for 7:30.
Meanwhile, Lakeview’s clubs open at Wisner-Pilger-Dodge-Howells. The Owens Wealth Advisors Junior Reds game starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Bank of the Valley Seniors tilt at 8 p.m.
