Omaha Boxer Crawford Earns Fourth Welterweight Title Belt

Omaha boxer Terence “Bud” Crawford defeated Errol Spence Jr. in a TKO Saturday night in Las Vegas. 

Crawford put Spence on the canvas three times before the fight ended at 2:32 of the ninth round.  The victory made Crawford the first undisputed welterweight champion in the four-belt era that began in 2004. 

The Omaha native is now 40-0 with 31 knockouts, including 11 straight KO’s.  The 35-year old Crawford handed the 33-year old Texan his first career loss in 29 fights.
