O’Connell’s 28 Points Help Bluejays Top Red Storm

Alex O’Connell scored a career-high 28 points and Creighton beat St. John’s 87-64 last night.
Playing their first home game in 33 days, the Bluejays improved to 11-5 overall and 3-2 in the Big East. CU made a season-high 14 three-pointers in 27 attempts. Arthur Kaluma had 20 points for the Jays.
Creighton is back in action at CHI Health Center Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against DePaul.
