NU’s Kate Smith Competing in U.S. Women’s Amateur

Nebraska golfer Kate Smith is competing in the 120th U.S. Women’s Amateur.  It teed off today at the Woodmoor Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. 

Smith was a first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2020 and she won the Big Ten’s Mary Fossum Award for owning the best stroke average relative to par. 

The tournament runs through Sunday.
