NU’s Jackson Leads U.S. Volleyball Team Over Puerto Rico
Nebraska middle blocker Andi Jackson led the U.S. women’s volleyball U21 team to a 3-0 victory over previously unbeaten Puerto Rico Thursday.
Jackson led all players with eight kills and 14 points and shared the team lead with two blocks and three aces as the U.S. won 25-10, 25-17, 25-15 in the Continental Championship.
Huskers setter Bergen Reilly helped the Americans’ offense to a .314 hitting percentage.
The U.S. moved to 3-0 in the tournament in Toronto. They earned a bye in today’s quarterfinals and will play in the semifinals Saturday.
