The old phrase “win a few, lose a few” applies to the recruiting efforts of the Nebraska football team over the past few days.

The latest news yesterday was a loss, as wide receiver Jaylin Noel announced on social media he’s committing to Iowa State.  The consensus three-star high school receiver from Kansas City would have become the Huskers’ ninth member of its 2021 recruiting class.

NU did land a three-star prep receiver from Georgia last Friday, when Shawn Hardy committed to Nebraska.

Also this weekend, Arizona State tight end Jared Bubak announced on Twitter that he’s transferring to Nebraska.  The Lincoln Christian grad will join the Huskers as a walk-on for his final season.
