Nebraska baseball’s Max Anderson and Creighton’s Alan Roden were honored today.  They were both named as freshman All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball. 

Anderson, the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, finished second on the Huskers in batting average at .332 and in hits with 61.  The infielder hit seven home runs and had 32 RBI. 

Roden, the Big East Freshman of the Year, led the Bluejays in most batting categories.  The outfielder hit .378 with nine homers and 47 RBI in 39 games and is currently ranked 27th nationally in RBI per game.
