NU Women’s Game Thursday Now at 2 p.m. on BTN

The Nebraska women’s basketball game at Michigan State Thursday has moved to a 2 p.m. tip.  It has also been added to the Big Ten Network television schedule.

The Huskers, one of five remaining unbeaten teams in Division I women’s basketball, were originally slated to take on the Spartans at 1 p.m., in a game with no live television coverage.

NU coach Amy Williams was honored yesterday by ESPN as national coach of the week.  Meanwhile, the Huskers’ Annika Stewart was named to the Big Ten weekly honor roll.  Stewart scored a career-high 21 points in just 15 minutes off the bench as the Huskers beat Wyoming to close non-conference play at 12-0.  Nebraska received votes, but was unranked in yesterday’s AP Top 25.
