One of the best three-point shooters in Nebraska women’s basketball history is retiring.  Taylor Kissinger of Minden, who has battled injuries, announced yesterday that her collegiate playing career is over.

Kissinger redshirted because of a hip injury as a junior last season.  She underwent surgery in January, but has faced setbacks during her rehabilitation.

Kissinger finished her Husker career with 559 points in 60 games, including 31 starts.  Her career .404 three-point percentage is the best mark in NU women’s basketball history.

She plans to transition into coaching.
