NU Women Host Rutgers, Markowski Honored Again

In women’s college hoops tonight, Nebraska welcomes Rutgers to Pinnacle Bank Arena.
It’s a mismatch on paper, as the Huskers are 15-4 on the season and 4-4 in the Big Ten. The Scarlet Knights are just 7-15 and have gone 0-10 in conference play. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
On Monday, NU’s Alexis Markowski captured her fifth Big Ten Freshman of the Week award. In two Nebraska wins last week, Markowski averaged 19.0 points and 7.5 rebounds.
