NU Women Bow at Penn State, Men Return Tomorrow

Penn State made plays and free throws down the stretch to defeat Nebraska 85-74 in women’s basketball last night. 

Kate Cain led the Huskers with 21 points, seven rebounds and five blocked shots, but it wasn’t enough to prevent NU from slipping to 9-6 overall and 7-5 in the Big Ten. 

Nebraska is slated to complete its two-game road trip by visiting Rutgers on Sunday. 

Tomorrow, the Husker men’s basketball team plays its first game since January 10th due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the program.  Nebraska’s game at Michigan State tips off at 5:30 Saturday evening.
