NU Will Play a Simulated Spring Football Game on Saturday

While Nebraska’s annual Red-White spring football game won’t be held at Memorial Stadium this Saturday as scheduled, fans can experience the game in a new way. 

Nebraska Athletics announced yesterday it will stream a video game simulation of the exhibition this Saturday, with kickoff still set for 1 p.m.

The simulated game will feature rosters made up of Husker football legends. It will be streamed live on Facebook, Twitter and Twitch.  The game will incorporate audio from the Husker Sports Radio Network.

Nebraska also invites fans to wear red and make a game-day sign that salutes the resilient people, businesses, organizations and first responders in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, sharing photos on social media using #GBRUnited.
