NU vs. Rutgers Canceled, Tonight’s Match Still On

The Nebraska volleyball team’s final regular-season home match against Rutgers scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled.
It was announced Thursday the contest has been scrapped due to non-COVID related illnesses within the Scarlet Knights’ program. It will be a forfeit and recorded as a loss for Rutgers, and Nebraska will be credited with a conference win. Ticket holders will be refunded for tickets and parking.
The 11th-ranked Huskers’ home match tonight against number 15 Penn State remains on as scheduled. NU will hold Senior Night festivities following tonight’s contest. First serve is set for 8 p.m. with the pregame starting at 7:30 on News Talk 900 KJSK.
