NU Volleyball Team Ranked No. 5 in Preseason Poll

The Nebraska volleyball team is ranked number 5 in the AVCA preseason poll.
Texas will open the year as the top-ranked club. Wisconsin, Kentucky and Washington are ahead of the Huskers in the coaches poll. It marks the seventh straight year NU has been a preseason top-five pick.
Nebraska went 16-3 and reached an NCAA regional final last year, when the Huskers were ranked sixth in the final poll of the season. Nebraska returns five starters, including three All-Americans in Nicklin Hames, Lauren Stivrins and Lexi Sun.
The season begins with the Husker Invitational next Friday and Saturday, as NU welcomes Colgate, Kansas State and Tulsa to the Devaney Center.
