NU Volleyball Gets Past CU in Five Sets

The Nebraska volleyball team earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Creighton last night. 

In front of an NCAA record crowd of 15,797 fans in Omaha, the second-ranked Huskers won 25-18, 25-23, 25-27, 18-25, 15-9.

Whitney Lauenstein had a career-high 25 kills, while NU teammate Lindsay Krause set a career best with 16 kills.  Nebraska’s Madi Kubik had a double-double with 14 kills and 12 digs.  The 17th-ranked Bluejays were led by Keeley Davis, who posted a season-high 19 kills and 15 digs, with Norah Sis adding 15 kills and a dozen digs. 

NU improved to 6-0 on the season, while CU fell to 5-2.
