NU Track Star Will Compete for Germany in the Olympics
Nebraska track and field athlete Till Steinforth, originally an alternate, will officially be competing at the Paris Olympics.
Representing Germany, Steinforth will begin the decathlon Friday with the 100 meters. After competing in the first five events Friday, he’ll resume on Saturday with the final five, finishing with the 1500 meters.
The German native has been a force for the Huskers the last few years, garnering four First-Team All-America honors, two Big Ten titles and two school records.
