NU Softball’s Bredwell Named Big Ten Freshman of Week

Nebraska catcher Ava Bredwell has earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors.
Bredwell helped the Huskers go 5-0 last week against Iowa and Minnesota by going 9-for-14 at the plate. She belted a triple, driving in six runs and scoring six more.
On the season, Bredwell is hitting .366 with two home runs, 15 RBI and 23 runs.
