Huskers Softball Team Tops Shockers in Lincoln

In softball, Nebraska posted a 10-4 home win over Wichita State Thursday evening. The victory upped the Huskers’ record to 9-5.
Today, Nebraska is playing two games at Bowlin Stadium – an afternoon contest against the Shockers, followed by a 5 p.m. tilt against South Dakota State. NU will meet the Jackrabbits again tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Creighton is playing five games from today through Sunday at the Evansville Softball Invitational. The 7-5 Bluejays will meet Green Bay twice, with single games against Bowling Green, Oakland and Evansville.
