NU Softball Staff Honored, Sooners Win WCWS Title

Nebraska softball was recognized yesterday as having the Midwest Region coaching staff of the year. 

Head Coach Rhonda Revelle and her staff led the Huskers to their first Big Ten Tournament title and the eighth 40-win regular season in NU history. 

Meanwhile, No. 1 seed Oklahoma defeated Texas 10-5 last night to win its second straight Women’s College World Series title.  The Sooners claimed the best-of-three series 2-0 after winning the first game 16-1.
