NU Shoots Lights Out in Second Half of Exhibition Opener

The Nebraska men’s basketball club pulled away in the second half for a 97-58 win over Peru State in last night’s exhibition game at Pinnacle Bank Arena. 

The Huskers shot a blistering 76 percent in the second half, after leading by only eight points at the break.  Grad transfer Alonzo Verge Jr. led four Huskers in double figures with 20 points.  He added eight assists and three steals. 

NU will host Colorado in another exhibition game this Sunday at 11 a.m.
