NU Recruit to Play 3×3 Basketball in Tokyo Olympics

Nebraska men’s basketball signee Keisei Tominaga will represent host Japan in the Tokyo Olympics.  The 6-foot-2 guard is the youngest member of Japan’s four-player roster.

3-on-3 basketball is making its Olympic Games debut in Tokyo.  The competition will run from July 24th through the 28th.

Tominaga will have three seasons of eligibility for the Huskers.  He spent the last two seasons at Ranger College in Texas, helping this year’s team to a 22-4 record and the NJCAA national tournament semifinals.  He garnered second-team All-America honors in 2021, after averaging 16.3 points per game.
