NU Men To Host Doane, Big Ten Opener Rescheduled

Two changes have been made to the Nebraska men’s basketball schedule. 

It was announced today the Huskers will host Doane University on Thursday.  It will be the first regular-season meeting between NU and Doane since the 1899-1900 season, although the teams have played two exhibition games since then, including a 91-63 Husker win prior to last season. 

Thursday’s tipoff is set for 6 p.m.  The pre-game starts at 5 on News Talk 900 KJSK. 

Also, Nebraska’s Big Ten opener at Wisconsin has been pushed back a day to next Tuesday.
