NU Men Rout Penn State, Women Tie Home Wins Record

Bryce McGowens scored 25 points and Nebraska rolled to a 93-70 win at Penn State last night. 

The Huskers snapped a four-game skid to improve to 8-21, 2-16 in the Big Ten.  NU visits Ohio State tomorrow night for a 6 p.m. game.  Tuesday’s pregame begins at 5 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. 

Meanwhile, the Nebraska women closed their regular season with a 73-59 victory over Northwestern yesterday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.  The Huskers tied the school record of 16 home wins and are 22-7 overall. 

NU was 11-7 in conference play and earned the number 6 seed in this week’s Big Ten tournament at Indianapolis.  The women’s first game is Thursday night against either Wisconsin or Illinois.
