NU Forward Walker Gets Reduction of Suspension

Derrick Walker of the Nebraska men’s basketball team has had his suspension reduced slightly by the NCAA.

The forward was originally suspended for 16 games for a violation of team and NCAA rules in 2018-19, when he played for Tennessee.

NU coach Fred Hoiberg said last night during his show on KJSK that Walker’s suspension has been reduced to 14 games.

That means Walker can play for the Huskers beginning on January 16th against Maryland.
