NU Defensive Back Farmer Suspended Indefinitely

Nebraska defensive back Myles Farmer wasn’t with the Huskers when they began preseason practice.

Coach Matt Rhule said Farmer is suspended indefinitely for failing to adhere to team standards.  Farmer was NU’s second-leading tackler last season.

Rhule also announced that wide receiver Josh Fleeks was significantly overweight and was sent home.  The Baylor transfer will be held out until he makes weight.  Backup defensive lineman Brodie Tagoloa will miss the season because of injuries suffered in a car accident.  And Rhule said offensive lineman Jacob Hood is dealing with a chronic ankle injury.
