NU D.C. White Says He Has to Make In-Game Adjustments Better
With Nebraska about to take on a Wisconsin football team that fired its offensive coordinator last Sunday, Huskers defensive coordinator Tony White says his unit will have to make in-game adjustments against the Badgers on Saturday.
White says a great run game will help Wisconsin. Asked how he thought NU’s defense did stopping the run at USC, White bluntly replied “not good enough.” But, he said that started with himself.
“They started doing some other things and I didn’t adjust fast enough to it,” White said. “So, I didn’t give the guys a chance to play….I was playing catch up the whole time and didn’t adjust well enough…got to do better.”
Saturday’s kickoff for the Huskers home game against the Badgers is set for 2:30 p.m. The pregame starts at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
