NU, CU Shortstops On National Award Watch List

The shortstops from Nebraska and Creighton have been named to the Brooks Wallace Award watch list.
The Huskers Brice Matthews and the Bluejays Nolan Clifford are among a group of 101 on the initial watch list. The award honors the nation’s top shortstop.
Matthews is hitting .409 with 13 home runs and 53 RBI for Nebraska. Clifford has a .283 average with three homers and 20 RBI.
