NU Baseball Faces Omaha in 14-Inning Exhibition Game Friday

The weather on Friday is forecast to be plenty warm as Nebraska’s baseball team holds its first fall exhibition game. 

The Huskers welcome Omaha to Haymarket Park for a 4 p.m. contest that is scheduled to last 14 innings.  Gates will open at 2:30 and admission is free.  Concessions will be open for fans with a limited menu. 

NU returns 20 players from last season, including All-Big Ten pick Gabe Swansen.  Nebraska has 25 newcomers on its roster, with 14 transfers and 11 freshmen.
