NU Baseball Coach Will Bolt Gets Five-Year Contract Extension
Nebraska baseball’s head coach, Will Bolt, has been signed to a five-year contract extension.
NU athletic director Troy Dannen announced yesterday that Bolt will receive an annual salary of $500,000 in the deal, which runs through the 2029 season.
In his five seasons with the Huskers, Bolt has compiled 137 wins which ranks sixth all-time in program history. Under Bolt, NU has won two conference titles and made a pair of NCAA regional appearances.
Later on Tuesday, Bolt announced three additions to his staff. Derek Roy is the Director of Player Development, Garrett Plumlee is the strength coach and Cole Evans, who played for Nebraska the past two seasons, is now a graduate manager.
