NSAA Lists Requirements For Postseason Contests

The NSAA is implementing several requirements for schools that host postseason contests this fall. 

Fans will be required to wear face coverings indoors for postseason volleyball matches and at outdoor events when 6 feet of social distancing isn’t possible.  Athletes will be allowed to wear face masks, but it’s not required.  Coaches and other staff are strongly encouraged to wear masks. 

The NSAA says host schools may establish additional requirements in consultation with local health departments. 

If a team is unable to compete due to COVID-19, it will not advance in the postseason, as the NSAA says those contests will not be postponed.
