The NSAA announced winter postseason protocols today it says will be effective this Friday.

In its release on social media, the NSAA outlines several requirements for schools that will host sub-district and district contests.  They include restricting attendance to 75% of occupancy – up from 50% set by the NSAA in January – “unless local health departments or host schools are more restrictive.”

Athletes are permitted, but not required to wear face coverings.  Coaches, non-active participants and spectators are required to wear face masks at all times.

The release notes the host school may establish additional requirements.
