CRESTON- A Norfolk man was injured after an accident near Creston Thursday.

At 6:44 a.m., the Platte County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single car accident at the intersection on 415th Street just east of 145th Avenue 4 miles south and 2 miles east of Creston. The investigation revealed that a car driven by 20 year old Alexander Hader of Norfolk, had been traveling eastbound on 415th Street, when he lost control and entered the north ditch where his car it struck a tree. The vehicle then came to rest on 415th Street. Hader was located outside of the vehicle and was treated by police and rescue. It is not believed that Hader had been ejected, but was able to exit the vehicle on his own. Hader was transported to Columbus Community Hospital where he was flown by medical Helicopter to a Lincoln hospital with serious head injuries. Hader remains in stable condition.

The accident remains under investigation.
