No Word Yet on Dylan Raiola’s Availability for USC Tilt
There has been no official word on Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola’s status for Saturday’s game at USC.
Huskers coach Matt Rhule said on Monday that Raiola would “try to practice” on Tuesday. No NU coaches or players met with the media yesterday, so there has been no update on whether Raiola practiced and, if so, how it went. Raiola suffered a back injury in Nebraska’s last game against UCLA. ESPN reported last week that sources said scans of the freshman’s back came back clean.
Whoever is the quarterback for the Huskers and new offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen Saturday, receiver Jacory Barney Jr. is just three receptions shy of setting the NU record for most catches by a true freshman. Barney has 38 grabs this season. Wan’Dale Robinson had 40 receptions in 2019.
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 3 p.m. The pregame begins at 11 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 2:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
