No. 1 Seed Tigers Win Opener in C1 State Volleyball Tourney

Top-seeded North Bend Central posted a three-set win in the opening round of the Class C1 state volleyball tournament. 

The Tigers downed Adams Central 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.  North Bend improved to 31-1 and will play in Friday’s 1 p.m. semifinal against Gothenburg.  That match will be aired on KLIR 101. 

Five other opening round matches are on tap Thursday.  Alpha Media radio is airing play-by-play of Howells-Dodge, Humphrey St. Francis, Nebraska Christian, Clarkson/Leigh and Cross County.
