Nembhard Honored For Third Straight Week

Creighton point guard Ryan Nembhard won his third straight Big East Freshman of the Week award on Monday.
Nembhard averaged 10.5 points, five assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game to help the Bluejays go 2-0 last week. Nembhard’s 94 points through seven games are the most by any CU freshman since Doug McDermott had 106 points at that point in 2010.
The Jays are 6-1 and will host North Dakota State tonight. The Bison bring a 4-2 record into the 8 p.m. contest, which will be televised on FS2.
